I’ve had the e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer laying around for a while. Honestly, I paid no mind to. But girls, you know what it’s like to have your face breakout during that time of the month right? Well, I always get spots on my chin. I figured, hey, I might as well see if it works instead of let it waste away!
I have to say… it works AMAZING. I am so happy I decided to actually use it.
I started using it a few weeks ago when I had about three spots on my chin. I washed my face and put it on. When I woke up the next morning they were still there, but much less noticeable. They were gone in about three days. I put it on everyday and everynight. Not only does make my spots go away fast, it also softens my skin. I woke up this morning and I looked in the mirror and i was literally like “wow” my face was so bright and clear!
Here’s the PROS:
Clears up spots within a few days
Is not greasy
Doesn’t really have a smell (pro to me)
Has a nice consistency
Here’s the CONS:
Bottle is too small! It’s a stretch to make it last a month if you are using twice a day like me.
$6 for a really small bottle
This is just my opinion. Always proceed with caution, whether or not you have sensitive skin. Here is the link to the product: Blemish Primer.

I’m always looking for a new manicure so I was really excited with the opportunity to try some beautiful nails from imPRESS. Here are some facts:
Available at Walgreens for $7.99
No drying time and no mess
Simply peel-back adhesive and stick them on!
Safe on natural nails
Mega gel shine
Easy to apply
imPRESS sent me two packages of stick on nails to try. I was really excited because I never have time to paint my own nails. It was a hard decision to pick which ones I wanted to try first!
I chose the ones on the left, the nude colored nails with heart decals. The nude went with everything and the hearts added a bit of glam. I really liked how easy it was to put on the nails. The instructions included were great:
I used the prep pad before applying the nails as instructed and then used the nail file included to file some sharper parts of my nails. The nails are not long, they are only slightly taller than the natural nails so you don’t have to worry about them hindering your everyday activities and limiting what you can do with you nails.
Here are some things I liked about the nails:
Easy to apply
Not time consuming to apply
Directions were easy to understand and follow
A prep pad, nail file and extra nails/adhesives were included
Looked salon professional
Did not impair my ability to do things like test
No chipping or loss of color
Here’s what I didn’t like:
They started to fall off my nails after 2 days! I don’t think the adhesive was strong enough.
The 3D heart decals kept pulling my hair out and getting it stuck in between the nail and decal when i touched my hair.
Overall, I did like these nails but I don’t think they are the best on the market. Here is what I recommend the company do:
Update to a stronger adhesive
I did like nails and I did enjoy the end result. They looked great:
Would I recommend these nails?
At the price, I think these are great for short term events like weddings, proms or date nights. I don’t recommend these for long term based on my experience with how quickly they fell off. Overall, these are a great, affordable solution to getting your nails done at a salon!
Disclosure: I received this VoxBox from Influenster for free. I received this product from Sally Hansen for free in exchange for an honest review.
It took about 3 months for me to receive a VoxBox! I did snaps, made lists, referred people, wrote reviews.. what was I doing wrong? Nothing. One instagram user suggested that maybe it was my location-living in the middle of nowhere will do that to ya!
Now, on to the good stuff! This review is long overdue because I’ve been busy with my first semester of college but if you’re following me on instagram, you already knew I got my first VoxBox!
Trying to tan as a fair skinned girl can be hard, that’s why I was so excited when my Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs!
Here is a picture of my right leg with Airbrush Legs and my left leg without:
There were both pros and cons of this product.
The product was consistent
The product was not too dark for my skin color (fair/light). I didn’t look orange lol!
It was easy to apply (just rub it on)
This small bottle covered both my legs (front and back plus feet) with some left over
Won’t leave you looking orange
Available at local retailers near you, like walmart-$9.97
Inexpensive as opposed to getting a spray tan (imagine how long the bottle will last if the little one has enough for 2!)
While I did like this product, I won’t be buying it myself. Here’s why:
Stain easily (sheets, towels, clothes)
It was easy to apply but it was not easy to cover all of my legs by myself. It actually takes a lot more effort than I am personally willing to put in.
Overall, this is a great product. If you like to tan, can’t tan (like me) or get regular spray tans, this could be an affordable, satisfying option for you.

A few weeks ago I was emailed by “Hannah” from Lash Factory cosmetics. She inquired if I would like to review their fiber mascara. I agreed because I love makeup and had never tried fiber mascara. Before this email, I had never heard of Lash Factory Cosmetics.
If you’re an active instagrammer or makeup lover, I’m sure you have heard of Younique makeup. Here is a photo of what Younique’s fiber lash case and mascara look like:
And here is a photo of Lash Factory’s mascara & case:
Coincidence? There’s a possibility.. I don’t know for a fact but a lot of people are saying Lash Factory ripped off Younique, both with packaging and product. Anywho, onto the actual review.
When I was approached to review the Lash Factory Fiber Lashes, I was excited. And then I received the product. The directions were confusing.
They said to apply your regular mascara. Wait, so I have to apply a third party product first? What’s the point of this product
then? I was baffled. They don’t even refer to their product as mascara on the packaging or tube! In my original Amazon review, I wrote that this product was not mascara and that it was very misleading.
it wasn’t referenced as mascara on the packaging or tube itself
I had to apply a third party mascara
What happened next? The owner emailed me! She was very unhappy and said that I was hurting her business by LYING and saying it was not mascara. She claimed to own a small business. TIP: More often then not, companies claim to own a small business as to make reviewers feel bad. No matter what, be honest.
Whether she owns a small business or not, I wasn’t going to feel bad. If the packaging doesn’t call the product mascara, I won’t either. By becoming a reviewer, I agreed to be honest and fair. I’m here to help consumers make smart decisions, not throw their money away.
Back to the product. When I applied the “mascara” and then the fiber “mascara” this is what my lashes looked like:
as you can see, the fibers fell off onto my cheek. Every time I wiped, more fell. The product description actually emphasizes that it doesn’t flake.Uhm, no. I know you might think that I applied to much but I kept apply until you could tell that there were fibers. Aside from that, I could not leave the “mascara” on longer than five minutes because it causes a GREAT irritation to my eyes. My eyes started to water and itch SO bad. It was also challenging to remove. It doesn’t claim to be waterproof but it seemed to be while I was attempting to remove it.
I do not, by any means, have sensitive eyes. My eyes improve every year (according to my eye doctor) and I get Pond’s Cold Cleanser in my eye ALL the time by accident while removing makeup. Never bothers me. But this “mascara” is terrible.
Overall, here is what I didn’t like:
flakes (even though they claim it wont)
won’t wash off easily (even though they claim it will)
directions say don’t apply to bottom eyelashes (real safe mascara wouldn’t say this)
caused an unbearable eye irritation
costs way more than it’s value
owner was unhappy after asking me to write an honest review. Uhm, no. Here’s you honesty 🙂
it clumps (much easier than any other brand i’ve used)
Do you recommend Lash Factory Fiber Mascara?
No, I absolutely do NOT recommend this product to ANYONE. It is the worst eye makeup I have ever used. If you have money, RUN. It it is NO way worth $20! Get a couple E.l.f. mascaras or just ANYTHING but not this sorry excuse for makeup. If you have sensitive eyes, this is going to be a terrible nightmare for you.
Because the seller complained about my first Amazon review, I wrote a new one. The first review I gave 4 stars but now I gave 3 stars for the second one. The only reason it didn’t get one star was because
I actually did like the way it LOOKED
I’m not saying don’t try Fiber Lashes, I’m saying don’t try the Lash Factory Fiber Lashes. You’ll waste $20 and you could buy much better makeup for $20! But if you DO want to try them, click here to visit the Amazon page

When I came across the opportunity to review goPURE Naturals Argan Oil, I was excited.
I had not previously used Argan Oil
I had heard about the many benefits
I had never used a goPURE Naturals product before but I am always on the lookout for brands that don’t test on animals!
Here are some pictures of my initial opening of the goPURE Argan oil:
What did I use it for?
I used the goPURE Naturals Argan Oil to condition my hair. My hair texture is curly/wavy and my color is Strawberry Blonde. It left my hair feeling softer than most conditioners I have used. I have medium length, thick hair so I used about 5 drops. The bottle recommends 2-3 but I would say more if you have exceptionally long or thick hair. They also recommend leaving it in for 30 minutes. I decided to leave it in for about 15 minutes. Below are some pictures before my hair dried and after (1 day later, not brushed and without other products).
I also used it on my face as a moisturizer. Apply makeup after the Argan Oil absorbs! Allow it to absorb for 3 minutes, sometimes 5 depending on the amount you apply. Then apply your makeup. Yay! Now you have glowing skin 🙂
What was the overall result of using the goPURE Naturals 100% Argan Oil on my hair?
My hair was softer than most conditioners allow
My hair smelled good
My hair was 50 times less frizzier than before. My hair is usually very frizzy due to having curly hair and living in the south where temperatures are often humid.
What were the pros of using the goPURE Naturals Argan Oil?
Leaves hair soft
Has a nice yet subtle smell
NOT tested on animal (yay!)
It’s an extremely versatile product
It has no additives. It is truly 100% Argan Oil from the Kingdom of Morocco
What were the cons of using the goPURE Naturals Argan Oil?
I did not experience any cons. If you have never used oil as a moisturizer or conditioner, I recommend starting with a small amount. Any oil can leave your hair, face or elsewhere looking and feeling oily when you use too much. Experiment and figure out what amount works best for you!
What are some different uses for goPURE Naturals Argan Oil?
Hair conditioner for softer and healthier hair
Facial moisturizer for a natural glow and healthier skin
Skin moisturizer to combat dry skin
Can help reduce inflammation from acne, rashes and bug bites
It can help improve the elasticity of skin, lessening the effect of stretch marks
Can soothe and heal razor bumps and razor burns
Can protect hair against the heat of hair dryers, curling wands and other heat stylers
Can heal cracked lips and prevent chapped lips in the wintertime
Moisturize cuticles and nails
Can be used as a exfoliating scrub (mix with vanilla extract and brown sugar)
Why buy goPURE Naturals Argan Oil over another brand?
it’s 100% Argan oil (contains no additives, only Argan oil)
it’s not tested on animals
it’s affordable. Some companies charge $40-$50 for Argan Oil! I promise this is just as good.
How much does goPURE Naturals Argan Oil cost?
